FCT election: INEC comes up short to meet 8:30 am kick-off, sensitive materials yet to leave RAC (VIDEO, PHOTOS)
Despite assurance by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, that voting would commence by 8:30 am in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT Council election, on Saturday, as at some minutes to 9 am, sensitive materials were yet to leave the Lugbe Primary School.
At the same time, the police and other security agencies were still trying to organise themselves at the Lugbe RAC Centre at LEA Primary School.

Captured in a video, the Supervisor of Lugbe RAC Centre said they were still trying to fix things and ensure the safe departure of sensitive materials to the appropriate polling units.
As it stands, voting might not start by 10 am in many polling units in Lugbe, against the 8:30 promised by the electoral umpire.
